Deuteronomy 8-10: For Our Own Good

Deuteronomy 10:12 & 13

“And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the LORD’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?”

For our own good.

Yet, often we learn the hard way, don’t we? At least I do.

BUT the grace of God is poured out, and His mercies are new every morning. Each day, glory transforms us (me) more into the likeness of Jesus.

I receive Your grace, Father. I can’t live without it! Not only to bolster my soul against sin, but to live in power and victory as I walk through this life. Thank You!
