We drove 1 1/2 hours yesterday for Fire's first high school soccer match! Fire was placed in the "striker" position. His team was not expected to win, but they played wonderfully and did win, 2-0. Being homeschooled all of his life, this is Fire's first experience with our local school district, and it has been extremely positive!!! Thanks, Jesus!!!
P.S. You can identify Fire in the pictures by looking for the maroon and white stripped jersey and the red hair. ;)

That is a great experience for him. I just love these homeschooled, christian kids playing sports for their public schools. What a ministry!
