3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
God esteems children! That means God regards children with respect; He prizes them and considers children as a gift to us.
Yet, even though God has gifted us with children, some people do not receive them as gifts. In my profession, I have witnessed children who have been "lightly esteemed" and even abused by those who were supposed to care for them.
The evil one, through broken adults, attacks the weakest innocents among us, whether powerless, innocent children or those children yet to be born, torn from the womb which nourishes and protects them.
Children are a heritage, a legacy passed down from God, a reward to us! It doesn't matter if you have never had a physical child, you can still receive the blessing of a child...their trusting heart, their wonder-filled eyes, their innocent exploration of the world. They cause us to remember childhood and spark us to be a child again, God's child!
Let's esteem children as God does! Receive children as a gift!

Thank You, Lord, for children! We receive them as a gift from heaven!!!
