Psalm 106 & 107: Trust the Trustworthy One

Psalm 106:13 & 14
Amplified Bible (AMP)

But they hastily forgot His works; they did not [earnestly] wait for His plans [to develop] regarding them,

But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness and tempted and tried to restrain God [with their insistent desires] in the desert.

God is eternal.  We live and die.  Our physical bodies, mortal, restricted to this world.  No wonder we are in a hurry to have our destinies fulfilled, to have that personal prayer answered, to get past that trial and get back to being blessed.  Yet, are we waiting earnestly for God to develop His plans regarding us?

The Israelites had seen firsthand, God's mighty and awesome  power as He delivered them from their captors, the Egyptians.  Yet, they quickly forgot what God had demonstrated in plain sight and did not wait for the plans He had for them to develop.  Their impatience opened the door to fleshly lusts as they wandered in the wilderness.

What is 10 years to an eternal God?  or 20, 30 or 40 years for that matter.  Trusting in God means we will wait a life time for our destiny or that answered prayer or the end of a trial.  AND, if we never see fulfillment here on earth, then our conscience is clear, because we trusted our Trustworthy King!
