Psalm 81, 88, 92 and 93: Walk in My Ways

Psalm 81:13 & 14
(Amplified)

13  Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways!

14  Speedily then I would subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their adversaries.

These verses demonstrate the heart of our Father God, Abba, who pleads for His children to obey Him.  Not knowing the heart of God could tempt a person to believe He is employing a type of blackmail against His kids...

"I will defeat your enemies if you do what I say."

Personally knowing or not knowing the heart of God colors the way we understand His written Word.  Having had numerous personal encounters with Him convinces me that God is pleading, because of love.  Not knowing God personally potentially gives the opposite impression.

My Abba is not some power-hungry super being who gets pleasure from lording His omnipotence over weakling human beings!

My Abba is HOLY...set apart from all impurity and darkness!  He can't, not won't, work on our behalf if we steep ourselves in the muck and mire of sin.  If He did, He would no longer be holy, no longer marked by perfection.

BUT JESUS!  The bridge between God and man, the pathway by which we come to this holy, set apart One spans the gap.  Jesus blood washes us clean making us holy as Abba is holy.  Jesus' blood empowers us to walk out His ways!

Through Jesus, I walk in God's ways.  Through Jesus, my missteps are straightened, and my muddied vessel is bright, shining and CLEAN!  Abba does subdue my spiritual enemies!!!  Praise, Praise, Praise!!!

Dear Anonymous, I'm not sure what you mean by "are you seeing this."
