Born to Worship

I was born to worship God! This morning Martin Smith led worship. At one point, mental pictures flashed before my mind's eye.

*as a child looking into the sky and talking to God

*as a pre-adolescent crying during a Christmas Eve candle light service because I could feel Him

*as an adolescent being drawn by His love and singing "it only takes a spark to get a fire going" after giving my heart to the Lord 

*as I learned to dance in worship in the middle of the night without music because He asked me to do it

*as I danced in a church service and felt a wave of power after someone who could not previously walk began to walk

*as I choose to forgive a group of people who repeatedly hurt me over the course of many years
All of these were instances of worship, and the only common theme was a heart turned towards God.

Light Interacts With Matter

 While skimming over search engine results, the number 137 caught my attention; immediately, I remembered a dream from many years ago in which God reminded me of my destiny and how Jesus intervenes to fulfill it. Physicists describe 137 (1/137) as the fine-structure constant, the probability that an electron will emit or absorb a photon ("Fine Structure Constant - Sixty Symbols", 2009). I knew that God was providing deeper insight into the dream. A photon is a particle of light, and an electron is the negatively-charged particle that whirls around an atom. All matter is comprised of atoms. In effect, the number 137 represents the interaction between light and matter. 

I feel like God is reminding me that I cannot live this life without His intervention, His interaction with me. God is light and I am matter.

 I have begun praying that Light would interact with matter in personal situations as well as situations involving others. God is so good. He never leaves us to figure this life out alone. He empowers us in difficult circumstances and ultimately, we will be victorious as we submit to Him and His ways.

Below, I have reprinted my dream, which I pray will be as much of an encouragement to you as it is to me.

I was in a school, the warning bell had rung, and it was time to go to my locker to get my books for the next class. I approached my locker, number 137, noticing that the word DESTINY was spray painted over it in large red letters. I was unable to open the combination lock, and because of this, became more and more anxious. I didn't want to be late for class! I looked down the hall to my left and noticed a friend had opened her lock without difficulty, grabbed her books and headed to class. I didn't understand why I was having such difficulty in opening my lock. Suddenly, behind me, I heard the janitor say, "I'll take care of that lock for you." He easily removed the lock and opened the locker door. I reached into the locker and found no books. I became anxious again, thinking, I won't be prepared for class! At the bottom of the locker, I found an envelope. Inside was a bill, which I thought was unpaid. Again this caused distress to rise up. I opened the to envelope to find that my father had already paid the bill. I was debt free!!!!!

The interpretation of the dream is that my destiny is locked up. I observe other Christians appear to be able to open the door to their destiny without difficulty. The locker number-137, was the goal weight that I had set during a period of dieting. The janitor, representing Jesus, was the One Who unlocked my destiny/goal. I thought that my destiny rested on studying, but in reality, my destiny/goal only relies on the fact that my debts (sins) have been paid by my Father (God). I woke up with deep peace flooding my soul.

Zechariah 1-2: Be Still All Flesh

It's been awhile since I have read Zachariah...WOW!  This symbolically rich, Old Testament book instills courage and direction.  Even the name, "Zachariah" instills comfort by its meaning, "the Lord has remembered" (Introduction to Zachariah, Amplified Bible).

The Jews have returned to Jerusalem after their seventy year captivity in Babylon.  The Lord is reminding the people, "Return to Me" and "I will return to you" (Zechariah 1:3, Amplified). 

In Zechariah 2:4, the second angel declares that Jerusalem will be "without walls." But this is not a cause for concern, because the Lord promises that He "will be a wall of fire round about" (Zechariah 2:5). 

Use your holy imagination...

There are so many people and livestock that a physical wall can't contain them.  Without a wall for protection, I imagine that the Jews might be a little worried. 

Would another enemy attack them and carry them off into captivity once again as the Babylonians had done?

The Lord ignites a fire wall around His people!  His glory is shining directly from the middle of His people.  I imagine His glory as the fuel for the fire wall.  The people are protected, safe and secure.  God has them, all around.  They are living in the midst of Living Flames of Fire!  The people respond with courage!  Their souls immersed in Peace!  They develop confidence in the Lord of Hosts...they have returned to Him, and He has returned to them!  Cries of celebration replace the cries of captivity!  Songs of joy sung; "He has come into our midst!" It is another day, a different season, a New Beginning!!!  The Lord of Hosts assures them that any enemy who touches them is touching His eye!  He will not stand for an enemy poking Him in His eye!  He swings His hand and the former masters now become plunder for God's people.  The enemy is defeated!  No more, can he enslave.  The people, they are free and their souls are stilled!!!

Like most women, my self-esteem was skewed. As a teen and young woman, I saw all of my faults and few of my strengths. What broke this unhealthy assessment of myself was my Abba singing over me.

While taking a nap one Sunday afternoon almost 15 years ago, I awoke to hear the most beautiful singing and experience a love so intense that I didn't want to breath or move. I didn't want this holy experience to stop. In those brief moments, I realized that I loved myself and the woman I had become with Jesus. I marveled how one supernatural encounter with Abba had changed a lifetime of thinking.

He poured out His love on me just because...not that I had done anything to deserve it. He loved me because He made me to be an object of His affection, and my reason for life was to love Him with my worship.

Because of various life experiences, I had been blinded to the uniqueness that made me, me. God lifted the veil of deception causing me to see fully that who I am is beautiful with the Lord. No other human being has ever been or will be like me.

This truth has been tested by fire since that wonderful experience, but I stand firm.  No matter what, God's opinion of me trumps what man thinks every time!  You can know this love and acceptance too.  His love stirs the desire to live in a way that is pleasing to Him, and if you mess up (I have), He immediately picks you up, washes the soul, soothes and empowers afresh!

In my profession, I am able to speak into many young people's lives. My hope is that these ones will see themselves as God sees them and not allow other people's opinions negatively affect the way they view themselves.

Only by the power of the Holy Spirit are we able to maintain a healthy, balanced opinion of ourselves being able to see our weaknesses and remembering what God has promised. With Him, our weaknesses make His perfect strength and power evident. With Him, our lives are beautiful!!! 

It's grace that enables us to bear trouble, however that trouble manifests. Misunderstandings, faulty discernment born out of fear, and our own wrong reactions...ALL our weaknesses glorify His strength when we humbly admit what the Holy Spirit has revealed and allow Him to flow through us.  His strength and power can rest over our lives like a protective tent!  :)

9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

Thank You, Lord, for revealing Your intentions towards us.  It's not about what we can do for You, it's all about being with You; living and moving from that intimate place stirs us to love ourselves and others just like You!!!  Make Your name a praise as any areas of captivity remaining are reversed.  In the wonderful name of Jesus, AMEN!!!

Mountain Removed: New Life and New Beginnings!!!

Dear Victorious and Faithful Friends,




The Monday after this past Christmas, I received a pathology report stating that I had breast cancer. Today, the Monday after Easter (Resurrection Day), I received the results of the PET scan from last week...no metastasis!!! Jesus was born to take our sins, heal our diseases and provide a way for us to be with Him throughout eternity. I do not believe in coincidences. The report declaring the resolution of cancer coming today is just another example of how my God speaks, and I believe He is saying to all of us that His resurrection makes "New Life and New Beginnings" possible, whether a disease needs to be eradicated or our sins need to be wiped away. Today is the day of "New Life and New Beginnings." Let's seize this gift by giving ourselves unreservedly to Jesus, accepting His free gift of salvation in its fullest measure!!!





Many Praises!



I continue to follow Peace no matter the pressure applied to my soul to do otherwise.



This morning I typed out, "The PET scan came back negative." I declared the good report in obedience to a prompting of His Spirit before I physically received the report of no metastasis to any other place in my body!!!



I have resumed my regular work schedule and duties.



Strongman and I celebrated the Passover Seder last Thursday with some dear friends (Thank you, Dave and Lori). This celebration was of special significance to me as I am a living example of the "Death Angel passing over."



I received the second MRSA culture results this morning, which came back as negative. I am officially clear of infection as per Pinnacle Health System policy!



My lifestyle has dramatically changed. I now exercise at least 5 days a week, walking/running 3 miles (5 K) each day. Dairy has been eliminated from my diet , as well as, processed sugar, caffeine, and butter/margarine. My meat (animals that walk on land) intake has been severely restricted, while I am blessed to enjoy salmon three times a week.



My new oncologist has described himself as "a worker bee in the hands of God." I'm not sure if he has a personal relationship with Jesus, but he does respect my beliefs.



It's wonderful to feel great and have some energy! This in itself has been a miraculous transformation as I have been a "tired person" since my teens. The cause of my fatigue was most probably "estrogen dominance." Strongman has encouraged me to stand in what my heart tells me in regards to further treatment and gives me a complimentary viewpoint with his logical, left-brained way of thinking. He has the ability to see through the fog to the point of an issue. Since I tend to process with my heart, he balances me.



Continued Prayer

The PET scan did show some esophageal irritation, which I'm thinking is due to the stress of two surgeries, the infection, and all the Motrin I was taking for pain relief. I took Motrin, because the narcotic made me "loopy." ;) The oncologist wants me to take Tums with calcium before supper each day. I was just asking Jesus over the weekend if I was getting enough calcium in my diet. I love the way He answers me.



The blood results were normal and according to the doctor, "You are no where close to menopause." I take this as a praise, but in the doctor's eyes this is not good. As long as my ovaries pump out estrogen, the chance of reoccurrence of cancer is higher. I want God's direction on this, ovaries release different types of estrogen, some of which are cancer preventative.



My next surgery will be in July, please pre-pray against complications. I don't want any more infections!



Thank you all for standing with me. "Beautiful" is the only word that can describe the support I have received throughout this season of trial. Jesus has shown me that with Him, we can have peace no matter what circumstances envelope us, and in that peace, His power is released!!!

not counting doctors' appointments.

Mountain Removal: "The Death Angel has Passed Over, Celebrate!"

Dear Persevering and Anointed Friends,



Yesterday, two specialists gave their opinions regarding my current "trial."

During the first appointment, the plastic surgeon looked at my left graft site and declared quietly, that it was dead, and I would lose it. Last Wednesday, my breast surgeon apologized several times, saying that she was sorry, but that the tissue was dead and will be lost. By all medical accounts, this tissue is dead. The medical term for dead tissue is termed necrosis. Necrotic tissue is black, hard, immovable...lifeless. As a nurse, looking at the tissue with physical eyes, I agree with their assessment, BUT I have been declaring life over this dead tissue. If Jesus can raise a dead man (Lazarus), why can't He bring life to a little bit of dead tissue?


Since last week, I have seen this dead tissue puff back up, and am now even seeing pink, healthy tissue at its base and up the side. Yes, God still needs to bring this dead tissue life, but I am seeing the first fruits of declaring life!!!! Praise be to my Beautiful Friend!!!!

Hebrews 11:1 (New King James Version)

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

During the second appointment, the oncologist interpreted the pathology reports on the tissue taken from the left breast in detail. Apparently, the previously unknown cancer is fed by my own estrogen, progesterone, and HER-2/NEU (a genetic mutation of the human growth hormone). The doctor is questioning the HER-2/NEU positive status, because it is generally not seen in this type of cancer, and dramatically changes the course of his recommended treatment. The cancer tissue has been sent to California for specific testing of its 21 genes, one of which is the HER-2/NEU. 


If, indeed, the tissue is HER-2/NEU positive, then the new biolytic agent known as Herceptin will be prescribed. After sharing my research on this drug with Strongman, his response was, "Yea, real nice stuff. Sounds like something I would give to off someone." (See link for information on why Strongman said this).



Out of curiosity, the doctor asked how I came to decide to have the left breast removed. I repeated to him, what I typed above and also, said I was not at peace with the Tamoxifen treatment. His respectful reply, "That's not logical." I quietly replied, "Faith isn't always logical." I think this shook him a little, because He whole-heartedly believes I need to take Tamoxifen (See link for information on why I am uncomfortable with this).


Chemotherapy...the cancer they found was 6 mm (very tiny), but invasive in that it had broken through the milk duct into the surrounding tissue where it could have had contact with my bloodstream, possibly sending rogue cancer cells any where else in my body. Chemotherapy is generally not recommended is for cancer 6 mm or less, the HER-2/NEU status will play an important part in the doctor's recommendation for or against chemotherapy.



The "incidental" finding of cancer in this tissue, was definitely a God-ordained act. It was God who gave me peace to go with the bilateral mastectomy. I listened to the doctors, prayed, and had MANY praying for me, and came to a decision based on peace. We all know why God led the way to the double mastectomy; to remove the unknown cancer and to make His glory to be made manifest through me.



Obviously, please pray that the staining test (a very subjective test) used to determine the original HER-2/NEU status was inaccurate and that on the genetic level (more precise) the Her 2 status would be NEGATIVE.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the California genetic pathologists would determine that the cells are actually benign? The mucinous cell can either be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). If my oncologist questions the validity of the HER-2/NEU positive status, why not let's find out that the actual cancer diagnosis is incorrect. Let's pray it into reality!!!

Continue to declare life from death for the tissue in question the left side, I am seeing life return!!! Praise the Lord Who holds me in the palm of His hand!!!!

Wisdom and continued peace. Also, for God to make each step and responsibility of my healing apparent. I want Him to make all decisions regarding my whole life, not only this small part of it!!! My desire is to co-operate with Him, not blindly live my life by human wisdom.

I had a rough night of intense chest muscle spasms Sunday night into Monday. I was feeling so good on Sunday, that I only took one muscle spasm pill instead of the normal four. The med I am on should be weaned off slowly, not cold turkey, and as a nurse I should have know better. :( On Monday, I was drained, tired, and very sore from the previous night, which affected me emotionally.




The best part...PRAISES!!!!!


My dear and true friend Patti B. prayed for me on Monday as I shared my heart and my physical pain with her. She declared life and healing. And even after viewing the dead tissue (she's a nurse too), refused to believe in what she saw physically and continued to stand with me for life from death. How much better a friend can a person have? :)

Since Monday, the pink tissue is increasing and is overtaking the necrotic tissue...yea, Life overcomes death!!!!

I am thoroughly enjoying home schooling my Fire (who sets a warrior example for me) without the pressure to get done before leaving for work. Sorry, PPI friends; I do Love you though!!!!



I am worshipping Jesus freely with my whole body; I have no limitations and complete range of motion, which continues to surprise every doctor I see.
The Lord has continued to open up doors for me in order to encourage others going through similar circumstances. I even have made contact with a lovely lady from Florida who just had brain surgery. Many of you may not know that I had brain surgery 23 years ago. That particular trial and how God guided me through is still encouraging people 23 years later. PRAISE, PRAISE, PRAISE!!!

Yesterday, I received an email from Chuck Pierce regarding Passover and the statement, "Passing over into a season of Triumph!" Immediately I heard, "The Death Angel has passed over you. Celebrate!" I proceeded to call my friend Lori N. and ask if we could celebrate the Passover Feast with her family in April. Lori said, "Yes!" :)

Last night, I slept in my bed for the first time since my surgery, freely moving on my back and from side to side without one single chest muscle spasm. YES!!!!

I continued to be overwhelmed (in a good way) by the Love, support (emotional and physical) and prayers by friends, family, the Body of Christ (through many churches in unity) and people from my community and the world (through my Internet connections).

I marvel at how God takes a difficult situation and uses it to propel us into our destiny. For months preceding the diagnosis, I prayed for God to stir up my heart's embers of passion for Him and for His people again. He answered my prayer. Oh, how I Love Your ways, Abba!!!!

I praise God for discovering like-minded, passionate lovers of Jesus through this trial by fire. I am blessed by you!!! (Elise J.)

Dear, Faithful Friends,


I am not able to do stairs at the moment, but my sweet Strongman has set up a temporary computer system here in my living room. I didn't have all the email addresses, so I hadn't sent out a mass update, but Tony just uploaded my addresses, so here it goes.

In one word...JESUS!!! Surgery went fantastic, the graft appears healthy (yea), the range of motion in my arms is weeks ahead of schedule (can't wait to start dancing again), and I was discharged on Friday morning. The only bump in the road was on Sunday, I started becoming nauseated and lethargic and eventually couldn't keep anything down. I ended up being readmitted to the hospital for IV fluids. Apparently, my toleration of narcotics is minimal. My BP was dangerously low. I told the girl wheeling me to my room to watch me for signs of seizure activity, because I felt as though one was very close.

I was discharged yesterday afternoon after I proved I could eat and keep it down. I am managing my pain on mostly Tylenol and less than half of the narcotics. Still need the Valium at 1/2 to 1/4 of the dose to manage the muscle cramps, but really I am doing well!!!

BUT enough of me. I was able to pray for my night shift nurse who was having pain in her knee d/t degeneration. She cried because I prayed. My surgeon walked in on me as I was worshiping (with headsets on) my hands raised to Jesus. :) I've told so many people how Jesus has given me peace through out this ordeal. I could go on and on and on. Satan meant to shut me up, BUT my mouth is speaking more and more for Jesus, so he (the evil one) might as well give up!!!! :)

The immediate prayer request is for the left graft site. It appears to be becoming necrotic (dying). Please speak life over it. Necrosis can spread and cause infection, and I won't have it in Jesus' name. I WILL NOT REMAIN SILENT!!!

Today I received a blessing that made me cry uncontrollably. When Jesus heart is manifested through His people, I can't help but to weep. I feel so loved, more love that can be contained, that it has to overflow my eyes!!! Jesus, You are beautiful through Your people. Thank you, Beautiful iBeJulio's Momma! I Love you and I Love your family!


Another one of my faithful praying friends, "Pure-Hearted Intercessor", gave me the most wonderful gift today. As she was interceding for me, she opened her eyes to find a white feather on her left knee. For those of you who know me intimately, you know Jesus gives me feathers as a sign of His Love and protection. My friend will be presenting the feather to me as a beautiful gift from my Jesus.


How is it possible that one woman can be so blessed? Only by Jesus!!!!


I will not trust in the horses and chariots of men, but I will trust in my God, Who covers me with His wings and hides me in His shadow. A lovely place to be...ALWAYS!!!!

The Mountain Revealed

My previous post, Mountain in the Path, describes various reactions to an obstacle placed in one's pathway.  This post was inspired by the personal mountain I am currently dealing with...its name, breast cancer.

My yearly routine mammogram revealed microcalcifications in my right breast.  Microcalcifications are formed when cells are dividing rapidly and dying quickly.  Cancer was not seen on the mammogram, just its effects.

A stereotactic biopsy was recommended and performed the Wednesday before Christmas.  Undergoing a biopsy at a different site on the same breast five years ago, did not prepare me for this unique procedure.  Although, uncomfortable (I developed a cramp in one of my intercostal muscles during the procedure), the technology was fascinating, and I thank God for the knowledge He has given man!

While driving to work on Christmas afternoon, I asked the Lord what He was going to do in 2011.  Clearly, His Spirit replied...

"Do not trust in the chariots and horses of men.  Trust in Me."

 from Psalm 20:7

Immediately, I began pondering His statement and attempted to apply it to any current situations, which gave me a choice to either trust man or trust Him.  I knew God was speaking, but was not certain how His word applied to me.

The Monday after Christmas, my husband and I were visiting my Momma who was hospitalized for left leg cellulitis (this has been recurring for many years.  Please pray!)  My cousin, who I don't see very often was also visiting my Mom.  She went on to list her numerous surgeries, the latest of which was a double mastectomy.  Can anyone say, "Foreshadowing?"

My husband and I decided to eat out for dinner, and eat somewhere fun, so we decided to eat at a local hibachi grill.  My phone rang as the chef was juggled knives and threw eggs, slicing them in midair.  My surgeon's voice cut through the moment with the surreal statement, "The biopsy showed cancer."

My immediate thought was not, she's saying I have cancer; it was, my Christian brothers and sisters will think I have sinned in some way.  For a little while, I only asked for prayer from those I could trust, but I have changed my mind.  Satan's strategy is to keep us alone, without the support of the body of Christ.  I want to buck the evil one, therefore, I am now publicly asking for prayer.

My prayer requests would be the following...


****that I would remain in Peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding.

****that I would hear the Lord clearly as to what He wants me to proceed. He is the One I trust. I will not trust in the chariots and horses of man!

****that I would be able to minister to my family and fulfill my responsibilities at work in a way that would glorify God.

****that the testimony I will have to share would draw those who hear to the Great Healer.

****that you would share with me what you feel the Lord is saying, any direction He would have for me.

I will continue to keep you updated as time allows.  In the meantime, I would appreciate any prayers you offer on my behalf.

Book Review: Tilly

As my readers know, I volunteer for my local pregnancy center on a weekly basis. A few weeks ago, Donna, the client services director recommended that I read the novel, Tilly, by Frank E. Peretti.

I enjoyed the easy to read format, but more than that, the deep content revealed in its pages. The theme of this story is forgiveness, restoration, hope, and the power of Jesus' blood to wash away our most grievous sins.

Sin always comes with a price tag, and its cost may be our emotional health, BUT Jesus mercy and grace prevail!!!!

This book is not for the very young reader, because of the images of abortion portrayed through words.

Read this book if you desire an increase in compassion for women who have been deceived by the world to think that abortion is a personal "choice."

Break old judgments that you have levied against yourself and others. See yourself and describe yourself the way God sees and describes you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made! Yes, times have been difficult, but in the midst of your testings the Lord has a done a great work in you. You are not the same this season as you were last season.

Resist legalistic tactics that prevent you from worshipping in a new way. Robert Heidler says this: “We must learn to discern between the wheat of grace and the tares of legalism. They look alike. They grow together. Grace is based in faith working through love. Legalism is based in fear and control which are workings of witchcraft. Religion and legalism will morph together to form witchcraft. Legalism ‘bewitches’ people into believing that after beginning by grace they can advance through legalism.”

In this season you must rehearse the Word! We must meditate on what God says until the power of that revelation enters our bloodstream and cell structure. We must learn to worship and minister in our homes. This is allowing our gifts to be activated in new ways in small groups. When the time comes that we are not free, we will already know how to continue in our homes. Take the points below and use them to speak into your life and the environment around you.

Linda Heidler is a Scribe in God’s House. She tries to capture the revelation that is coming forth each time we meet for corporate prayer, discuss in meetings what the Lord is saying from heaven, and when someone is prophesying. We then “watch” with this revelation. You do war with the prophetic word God gives you. I have a book about this called God’s Now Time For Your Life. Each week we send out prophetic words in our emailers to encourage you. I also prepare a daily prophetic devotion for you. Now, we will attempt to encapsulate 10 Points to help you war. From the last two weeks, here are TEN KEY REVELATORY WAR POINTS for you to decree into your atmosphere.

1. 
   In the season of “AYIN or “The Eye”, when God opens your eyes to the demonic realm in a greater dimension, we must see beyond the dark structure that we have discerned and view into the realm of God. The Lord is showing you the demonic so you will know what is resisting you or that which will attempt to block or discourage you. When you see these foes, do not be overwhelmed. Remember Elijah saw the “word and the demon gods” that Jezebel was aligned with and ran from his position of authority (1 Kings 19:1-2). This postponed the Lord’s plan to change the government of Israel.


2. 
   The Spirit of God is giving you the prophetic revelation you need before you need it. Be alert to LOOK AGAIN at what He has already said to you in the past seasons. He will now refresh His voice so you can gain the revelation you need now and see a manifestation of His grace and promise in your life.


3. 
   Like on a train, God has released engineering and conducting angels. The Spirit of God wants many things engineered (as in construction) and conducted (as in electricity) in this season. We are entering into a new 16 year Building Season. The apostolic leaders that are being raised up today will be downloading Heaven’s building plan for His Kingdom projects. Invite these angels as messengers to bring God’s plans.


4. 
   God will be sending some of His people into dark structures. Do not fear the darkness. He will give you “night vision” to see a path of righteousness through any unrighteous structure. This will be like moving in the Gulf Stream through the normal ocean currents. The Gulf Stream is a warm stream that originates in the Gulf of Mexico, goes through the Florida Straits and into the colder waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The demon forces will part like the Red Sea and will be held back while God’s children go into their new assignments. Look at all GIANTS as your food.


5. 
   We must go up to the source of the river. Just do not be looking at “jumping in the river” this season, but go to the source where the river is beginning. Go to the high places. Topple old Thrones of Iniquity, follow the river down, and break all dammed structures. Find your supply sources that have been held up in the last season. God is opening our eyes to see those in need and is filling our mouths with the word that will bring them past the plan of the enemy.


6. 
   There is a shout rising from us that will cause God to meet us with His shout. He will open the fountains of the deep to release the revelation for how to enlarge our tents and walk forward in this season. There is a shout deep in your belly where the “springs of living waters” exist. Play skillfully with this shout as it rises and flows from your mouth (Psalm 33).


7. 
   There is a new drink bubbling up within us that will expel bitterness, pain and sorrow.


8. 
   God will open our eyes to things we could not see in the last season so that He can activate the vision within us and finish what He has begun in us. He is Alpha and Omega. Alpha will show you what needs to be finished. Omega will show you how to walk things to the end.


9. 
   God is making our minds new. The crowns you received in the last season need to be cast at His feet. Those crowns were meant to be given to our Lord and not worn into this season. He is fitting us and giving us new crowns to present to Him. He is putting new turbans on our heads and developing a new mindset for a new season. Read Zechariah 3.
   


10. You will see Babylon arise in a new way. Do not fear. The kingdoms of the world are becoming His. This happens by us being sent like Daniel to be the greatest influencers in the Babylon system.

He Will Not Allow Me to Slip

Last night's dream:

I was walking over freshly mopped floors through the hallways of a school. I was concerned that I would slip on the wet floors, but I kept walking without slipping.

Part of this morning's Bible reading included Psalm 121! God was telling me that even though I am walking over slippy areas, He will not allow my foot to slip or be moved!!!

Thank You, my Jesus, for Your encouragement. It's just one of the very many reasons that I love You!!!

PA Awake: a Day of Prayer, Worship and Declaration to Rediscover Pennsylvania's Purpose, on September 26th

From out of the history of William Penn, after which the state of Pennsylvania is named, comes a call to return to Penn's vision of a God-honoring government, and individual lifestyle.

PA Awake is a gathering, much like those of The Call, where hundreds come together to pray, worship God and declare God's purposes for their state and country. It will be held on September 26th (rain or shine) from noon to 6pm, at the Skyline Sports Complex, City Island, Harrisburg, PA. There is no charge, however registration is necessary so adequate parking can be arranged.

William Penn's life may not be familiar to many, but he was touched by God at an early age after attending a Quaker meeting. In an attempt to rid him of his spiritual quest, Penn's father sent him to attend Oxford when he was 16, but he was soon expelled because he rejected institutionalized religion, seeking instead an authentic Christian message.

At one point Penn was sent to the Tower of London, where he used the time to write the first draft of his book No Cross No Crown, from which a quote reads: "No pain, no palm; no thorns, no throne; no gall, no glory; no cross, no crown."*

Penn eventually was granted a large area west and south of New Jersey by King Charles II. Penn named it Sylvania (Latin for woods or forest) but Charles later changed it to Pennsylvania. (Tapestry depicting Holy Experiment/QuakerInfo.com)






William Penn envisioned a democratic system of government that "with full freedom of religion, fair trials, elected representatives of the people in power, and a separation of powers,"** ideas which later helped form the US Constitution. His understanding of the Gospel also led him to form a peace treaty and friendship with the area Native American tribes, making sure that they were paid fairly for their lands.** This vision of Penn's Pennsylvania was what he called a "Holy Experiment," and an example to the nations.


It is in this spirit—an authentic pursuit of God, and the honor of God and the Gospel in government, the state and the country—that PA Awake will meet on September 26th. Prior to the main event, there will be two "Pre-event Worship Rallies" held on Monday, 9/14 and 9/21, 7pm at Life Center Ministries.

The Spirit of the Lord is saying: "Many of you see the change ahead but are not sure that you have the strength to make the change. But I am a God who can cause a joy to rise in you. Begin to praise as you release the last of your strength to Me, and I will come down and empower you in a new, unexpected way. You need new strength to establish your new nest. I have eggs for the future that must be hatched and must be sat upon. I have revelation that must be released that will hatch out. I give you the strength now to sit on the nest and wait for My empowerment before you rise to move forward.

"I am going to bring a vision to you that will show you things that you have prayed for that have not been completed. You will say, 'Lord, why am I seeing that?' You will be seeing what you are seeing because now you will have the strength to see. Many details and vision have been waiting for you to see. I am causing things that have been stored deep in your spirit to come alive. You will say, 'Why am I having that vision?' It is because I am giving you the strength to see things that you once prayed about come into their fullness. This vision will give you the faith to pray again.

"I am releasing a spiritual wind from heaven. Today, I speak into the earth. Breathe in this spiritual wind. There is a stirring deep within you. In the slumber from the hurts and wounds from the enemy, you will now rise up with new strength. You will enter into a place that you could not enter into in the last season. Now you will rise up and mount up. You will come from behind. You will lay on My love and My bed of love wind will cause you to enter in. You will shout, 'Awakening has come!' I have saved you for this time of awakening. My wind will contend and My love will come alive in you again."

Mom Update: Accentuate the Positive

Dear Prayers,

The IV nurse attempted to insert a PICC line in mom Friday afternoon but met resistance; the radiologist was sucessful in inserting it Friday evening. Mom was discharged from the hospital and admitted to a local long-term care facility on Saturday, where she will continue IV therapy for about two more weeks. I desired to have Mom come home where I could administer the IV antibiotics, but in home therapy was not covered by my parents' insurance and therefore, too costly.

This past Thursday was the first day I really saw improvement in the cellulitis. (yeah, Jesus!) I'm thankful that Mom is only only 5 minutes away from me now! (yeah, Jesus!)

Mom's cellulitis is healing quickly now (thanks, Jesus!). Please pray that her stay in the nursing home would be one of peace and rest. Thanks for all your prayers. Mom and Dad have been their normal upbeat selves through all of this (praise, Jesus!) Thursday Mom was singing to Dad and I the old 1940's song, "Accentuate the Positive." I checked all of the lyrics out and they are awesome! Mom was prophesying and didn't even realize it. How I do love that woman!!!!

Mom Update

Dear Prayers,

Mom's strength is improving, but her leg is still quite red and hot. The doctor's added a third IV antibiotic yesterday in response to the leg's minimal improvement. Mom may actually need to be admitted to a rehab facility, because insurance won't continue to pay for acute care just for IV antibiotic therapy. We really want Mom to come home, so please pray her leg improves quickly.

Prayer for Mom

Good morning,

Dad called me on Friday morning, Mom was on the floor and he couldn't get her up. Fire and I lifted her back into bed, and I started the emergency antibiotics as prescribed (her left leg was red and hot again). However, because she gets sick so fast, and it causes her to be incapacitated, Mom was admitted to the Hospital. She has already improved and was even able to be out of bed in a chair yesterday! (Praise, Jesus!!!)

Please pray that the infection would resolve and NOT RETURN! Also, please pray for wisdom for Mom. She has never been one to sit around, and on Thursday she was outside weeding and planting flowers. She does too much and then her body's defenses become weakened and she gets infected.

Experiencing Heaven Through Our Five Senses: Part Five, Tasting Him

Experiencing heaven through the five senses of hearing, feeling, seeing, smelling and finally, tasting can draw us closer to the One who holds our hearts close to His heart, causing the objects of His affection to know Him in deeper, more intimate ways. The more acquainted we become with this all powerful King, the more His unmatched beauty, unending power, holy justice and everlasting, passionate love becomes apparent. Knowing Him like this encourages a holy passion in His Beloved, which no earthly thing, physical or abstract, compares. This goal is ultimate, surpassing all other pursuits!

Although I have experienced Jesus through the former four senses, tasting Him eludes me, but that will not hinder in the writing of this last post in the series. Because of my personal inexperience with this particular sense, I report the experience of a trustworthy man, Mr. P., who has experienced heaven through all five of his senses, taste included. He described the wonder of smelling and tasting a wine scent as Jesus (His Holy Spirit) was passing by, while visibly witnessing the affects of this One Who is powerful and true as He touched the hearts of people who were positioned along His pathway.

Song of Solomon 1:3 & 4 "[And she continues] The odor of your ointments is fragrant; your name is like perfume poured out. Therefore do the maidens love you. Draw me! We will run after you! The king brings me into his apartments! We will be glad and rejoice in you! We will recall [when we were favored with] your love, more fragrant than wine. The upright [are not offended at your choice, but sincerely] love you." Amplified Bible

I believe intimate experiences as the ones described in this series will propel the Bride of Christ into His arms, causing her to be the beloved in whom no spot is found, desired by the King because of her beauty which manifests as submissive and reverent honor of Him Who deserves all praise, all worship, all allegiance...Who deserves ALL!!!

Every sense opened to You, Jesus, to know You and to fall deeper in love with You!!! Bless all who read this with many encounters with You, the One True King! AMEN!!!

Experiencing Heaven Through Our Five Senses: Part Four, Smelling Him

Fragrant scents fill the atmosphere in springtime, reminding of blossoming buds, pollinating plants, billowing breeze, and drizzling droplets of rain. Not only is Creation filled with vibrant colors, diverse tactile experiences, and soothing sounds but many varied scents. The Creator reveals Himself as the Grand Artist of the universe, and our God delights in displaying Himself to those who would desire to know Him by hearing Him, feeling Him, seeing Him, smelling Him and tasting Him.

Presently, I have had only one olfactory experience, but God used that experience to break a chain that had attempted to bind me.

God clearly spoke in the fall of 2007, asking me, "Will you still love and trust Me if you can't feel Me?" Impulsively, I answered, "Of course, Jesus!" Almost immediately, the touch of my Beloved ceased. I continued to see Him through dreams and visions and hear His voice directing, encouraging and warning, but my Beloved did not allow me to feel His touch.

This "no feeling Him" season continued through the winter and spring of 2008, a year which God had promised would be one of "New Beginnings." By the summer, I began to hear the reviling of the evil one, "Why would He want to touch you?" I would counter with reminding the evil one how much the Lord had revealed Himself to me previously. The battle in my mind continued to intensify, and I began imploring my Bridegroom to touch me again.

August arrived, and with that, I served as one of the youth leaders for the Fuel Ministry's annual youth conference "Burn." By this time, I had stopped imploring the Lord to touch me. I just continued to draw near to Him.

During the first worship session of "Burn," I was again battling the evil one in my mind. Evil started casting up past sins, ones already repented of and forgiven by Jesus. Responding to the accusations, I reminded the evil one of the purity provided for me by Jesus. It was during this battle when a fellow youth leader friend, M., walked by me several times, finally stopping to whisper in my ear,

"Do you have vanilla perfume on?" I rarely wear perfume, and I definitely did not own any vanilla perfume. My friend said, "The scent of vanilla is strong, and it's coming from you."

Deeply inhaling, I attempted to smell this heavenly scent, but could not. I began to ask Jesus to allow me to smell this heavenly scent, and faintly the sweet smell of vanilla was detected.

After the service I asked my friend what vanilla means, and she directed me to speak with Pastor J. who had had olfactory experiences in worship. Pastor J. told me vanilla means PURITY! Jesus hadn't been perceptibly touching me, but He did allow me to sense Him through smell, reminding me of the purity He alone can bestow! My soul was overcome with love for my Jesus!!!

The next afternoon while riding the bus to get to the evening session of "Burn," I suddenly began to feel Jesus like electricity on my skin. Oh, how thankful, I was to feel Him once again!!!!

Since I have had only one olfactory experience, I gathered reports from other lovers of Jesus and their experiences. Livin' Life reported smelling fresh baked bread a few times during prayer (Jesus is the Bread of life, John 6:35), and Livin's husband, smelled a sweet floral fragrance, unlike that of earthly perfume. One man is my church smells freshly tilled ground on someone when they are ready to receive Jesus!!!

Jesus, we want to experience all that You desire to reveal! However You choose to reveal Yourself, we receive You!!! Open up our senses to You, cause us to know You in a personal way!!!! In the great name of Jesus, AMEN!!!!

P.S. I feel Him touching my head!!!! :)

Update:

Several months ago I dreamed that Jesus handed me a hydrangea.  It was so sweet smelling in the dream and I awoke continuing to smell the beautiful fragrance.

Experiencing Heaven Through Our Five Senses: Part Three, Seeing Him

I realize this subject may be foreign and even a little scary, to some of my blog readers. Ask yourself, why would we be frightened by God desiring to speak to us, touch us or even by God allowing us to see into the spiritual realm? My suggestion is to search the Scripture, and ask Jesus about all of this. There was a time in my life when I wasn't able to receive the things about which I have been posting.

Seeing into the spiritual realm provides clarity for the circumstances in which we find ourselves, yet sometimes, seeing just stirs up more questions. This has been my observation with experiencing God through the sense of sight. As much as I love Him, I do remember that GOD IS GOD, PERIOD! His ways definitely are higher than mine and His thoughts much deeper, therefore, I do not always understand what He is allowing me to see.

1 Corinthians 13:12 "For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality asin a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God]." Amplified Version

I am a dreamer, and have been one since childhood. What does the word of God say about "seeing" through dreams/visions?

Matthew 1:20 Joseph is instructed to take Mary as his wife by an angel in a dream.

Matthew 2:12 The wise men were warned not to return to Herod through a dream.

Matthew 2:13 Joseph was told to flee to Egypt with Mary and Jesus while dreaming.

Acts 2: 7-21 God's Spirit is poured out in the last days manifesting in prophesy, dreams, visions.

Genesis 40-41 Israel and Egypt are saved from famine because of God's instructions through dreams.

As a young girl, I did not understand that God still uses dreams today in order to communicate encouragement, direction, and warning. Today, I look forward to my sleep time, anticipating what God may reveal. Through this blog, I have already given examples of how God has used my sense of sight to encourage, direct and warn. He has encouraged by revealing a DNA molecule, directed by floating red, high-topped sneakers, and warned by a bride fighting to retain her crown.

Several years ago, I had a dream which I will not forget. I was in a school, the warning bell had rung, and it was time to go to my locker to get my books for the next class. I approached my locker, number 137, noticing that the word DESTINY was spray painted over it in large red letters. I was unable to open the combination lock, and because of this, became more and more anxious. I didn't want to be late for class! I looked down the hall to my left and noticed a friend had opened her lock without difficulty, grabbed her books and headed to class. I didn't understand why I was having such difficulty in opening my lock. Suddenly, behind me, I heard the janitor say, "I'll take care of that lock for you." He easily removed the lock and opened the locker door. I reached into the locker and found no books. I became anxious again, thinking, I won't be prepared for class! At the bottom of the locker, I found an envelope. Inside was a bill, which I thought was unpaid. Again this caused distress to rise up. I opened the to envelope to find that my father had already paid the bill. I was debt free!!!!!

The interpretation of the dream is that my destiny is locked up. I observe other Christians appear to be able to open the door to their destiny without difficulty. The locker number-137, was the goal weight that I had set during a period of dieting. The janitor, representing Jesus, was the One Who unlocked my destiny/goal. I thought that my destiny rested on studying, but in reality, my destiny/goal only relies on the fact that my debts (sins) have been paid by my Father (God). I woke up with deep peace flooding my soul.

Friends, ask the Lord to open your eyes that you may see Him. There is nothing better than having the God of the universe encourage and direct your life!!!

Holy Spirit, You are pouring yourself out on all flesh. Cause ALL FLESH to not only hear and feel You, but to see You as well. May the Spirit of the Living God reveal Himself in greater measures to you today in Jesus' name, AMEN!!!
