Mom Update: Huge Praise for Jesus!!!

Dear Praying friends,

I just got back from Mom's follow-up appointment with her surgeon. It turns out that the tumor (which the doctor said was 100% cancer and then rephrased to 99.9% sure it was cancer) IS NOT CANCER!!!! The tumor is called a schwannoma (see below) which is benign and rare. The tumor is being sent to John Hopkins for further study.

When the surgeon told us the tumor was most likely cancer, I immediately said that we would pray and ask the Great Physician to intervene. I reminded the surgeon of our previous conversation, and he said he is not always right. He agreed that if he had come in second to someone, he was glad it was Him (meaning God). Mom just smiled quietly during the conversation.

We celebrated with lunch at Hardees and then stopped to buy the purple mums Mom has been admiring at a local outdoor store.

It's amazing how Jesus intervenes, just when the storm seems to be at its climax. Jesus, the Storm Chaser, prevails!!!!!

You are ALL appreciated and loved!!!
Beautiful Grace :)

A schwannoma is a kind of tumor originating from the Schwann cells. The insulating myelin sheath which covers peripheral nerves is produced by the Schwann cells. Hence, one kind of tumor originating from the Schwann cells is called a schwannoma.

Yes, God is great he always give us chance if we believe in him. Now I am 31 yrs old married and my wife is expecting a baby next month. When I was 19 yrs old I suffered with Schwanoma tumor no doctor know how to deal with it they said they have to remove my right hand inorder to avoid any further growth. But one doctor was sent by god opened my chest and studied for 5 hrs and operated, caz he doesnt want to spoil my life by removing hand, he removed 1 Kg of chest muscle[inside right armpit which is exactly below the right color bone] which got infected and for the rest I was given radiation. By gods grace I am living since then happily, but again I getting pain in my right hand, I am scared to meet doctor. This time what God is going to do for me.Tommorow I am going to meet the doctor. My best wishes with you. I am INDIAN, Software professional.

Regards
Bhavani

A dear, fellow homeschooling mom, responded to "Huge Praise for Jesus" via e-mail. I wanted to share with my blogger friends, because it made me weep. Jesus is truly beautiful!!!

Praising God with you! Yeah, I love that .... "Jesus, the Storm Chaser prevails"!!!! Years ago late at night I heard this tune in my head .... I starting humming it and didn't know what it was ..... but the tune would not leave ..... finally turning to my husband I asked him if it sounded familiar .... he said yes, it was an old song from the 60's or 70's or something .... I said well God is giving it to me loud and clear and it has to due with this season of my life .... I said this is holy and He's telling me something ..... My husband went on to tell me it was a Jim Morrison/Doors song called Riders on the Storm (if I remember correctly) ............... Vaguely, it sounded familiar. I went on to locate the words on the internet as it played in my head. I knew it was God redeeming such a drug-infested culture song!! I heard Him tell me that I WAS A RIDER ON THE STORM AND I WOULD RIDE THIS AND EVERY STORM OUT YET TO COME WITH HIM! THAT WE WERE NOT DOGS THROWN INTO THE WORLD WITHOUT A BONE ... YES, WE HAD THE TRUTH AND PEACE OF KNOWING HIM AND HIS SON .... HE WAS TRULY MAKING MY HANDS TO MAKE WAR AND I WOULD RIDE THE STORM TRUSTING HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had to share with you ...... Thanks for the memory recall!!!!! I needed to remember those words from Him and know that He shall overcome all things and furthermore, I have my wings to ride any storm as long as HE is there with me ........................ YEAH GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loving you...
